E-News > CGSA Will Bring The Canadian Golf Course Management Conference to Halifax in 2027

Halifax, Nova Scotia — The Canadian Golf Superintendents Association (CGSA), in partnership with the Atlantic Golf Superintendents Association (AGSA), is pleased to announce that the Canadian Golf Course Management Conference will be held February 23–25, 2027 in Halifax, Nova Scotia, hosted at the Halifax Convention Centre.
The 2027 conference marks a milestone for CGSA and the region: this will be the first time the national conference returns to Halifax since 2009, bringing golf course management professionals, industry leaders, educators, and suppliers together for three days of education, networking, and Atlantic Canadian hospitality.
“Halifax is an outstanding host city, and we’re excited to bring our national community back for the first time in nearly two decades,” said Braydon Gilbert, AGS, CGSA President. “Partnering with the Atlantic Golf Superintendents Association in Halifax creates an ideal setting for learning, sharing best practices, and strengthening professional connections across Canada.”
AGSA welcomed the opportunity to co-host and showcase the strength of the Atlantic golf community.
“We’re proud to partner with CGSA to welcome colleagues from across the country,” said Matthew Blackburn, AGS, AGSA President. “The region has a strong turfgrass culture, a growing season that presents unique agronomic opportunities and challenges, and a reputation for warm hospitality—this conference will reflect all of it.”
