CGSA Scholarship Opportunities – $10,000 in Total Awards!

The Canadian Golf Superintendents Association (CGSA) Board of Directors is awarding $10,000 in scholarships to support CGSA members in turfgrass education.

#1. CGSA Student Scholarships – $7,500 Total

Deadline: November 30, 2025

Awards:

• 1st Place:  $5,000
• 2nd Place: $1,500
• 3rd Place:  $1,000

Eligibility:

• Current CGSA Student Member
• Canadian Citizen
• Enrolled in:
• Year 2+ of a recognized 2+ year turfgrass program, or
• Enrolled in minimum of 1 year equipment repair/technician course
• At least one season working on a golf course

#2. Turf Managers’ Short Course Scholarship – $2,500

Deadline: March 31, 2026

• One scholarship worth $2,500

Eligibility:

• Current CGSA Member, any category
• Canadian Citizen

• Open to CGSA members enrolled in the University of Guelph Turf Managers' Short Course
