CGSA Announces Board of Directors

QUEBEC CITY, QC - The Annual General Meeting of the Canadian Golf Superintendents Association took place on Wednesday, February 28th.  There were several elections and is pleased to announce it's new board.

Atlantic Director, Bradley Allen, Superintendent, Cabot Links, Inverness, NS
Quebec Director, John Scott, AGS, Superintendent, Summerlea Golf & Country Club, Vaudreuil-Dorion, QC
Ontario Director, John McLinden, Superintendent, Ladies Golf Club, Thornhill, ON
Manitoba Director, Darren Kalyniuk, Superintendent, St. Boniface Golf & Country Club, Winnipeg, MB

Tim Kubash, Master Superintendent, Salmon Arm Golf Club, Salmon Arm, BC was appointed British Columbia Director for a one-year term.  Dustin Zdan, AGS, Superintendent Connaught Golf Club in Medicine Hat, AB will complete the second year of his term as Alberta Director and Pierre Vezeau, AGS, Superintendent, Cooke Municipal Golf Course, Prince Albert, SK will continue as Saskatchewan Director.

The Annual Reports of the association were presented and received approval during the meeting.  

About Kendall Costain, MS -
Costain is the Superintendent of Westfield Golf & Country Club in Saint John, New Brunswick.  He is an 18 year member of the association, a CGSA Toro Future Superintendent Award recipient and has been on the Board of Directors since 2013.  During his tenure on the Board of Directors he has chaired several committees and completed a term as Secretary-Treasurer.  Mr. Costain is also CGSA's newest Master Superintendent completing the requirements of this program earlier this week.  He lives in Saint John with his wife and two children.
