Recognize an outstanding assistant superintendent by nominating them for the 2022 CGSA/Toro Assistant Superintendent of the Year (ASOTY) Award.

The Canadian Golf Superintendents Association (CGSA) is pleased that The Toro Company is a Platinum Plus Sponsor and exclusive sponsor of the CGSA/Toro Assistant Superintendent of the Year Award.

The ASOTY Award recognizes the specific achievements of a golf course assistant superintendent whose performance and contributions to the success of the facility go beyond those that would normally be expected. The award is to be presented to an individual who has contributed to his or her golf facility in a significant way and who has demonstrated professionalism, leadership, innovation, and a team approach in their work.

The Assistant Superintendent winner, chosen from among those nominated, will receive a full registration to The Canadian Golf Course Management Conference (CGCMC) from February 22-24, 2023, in Vancouver British Columbia, including round-trip airfare to the conference and four nights’ accommodation at the Fairmont Hotel Vancouver. Toro will also provide the winner with a $500 CAD VISA gift card for incidental expenses during the conference. The winner will receive the Toro Experience, an exclusive event hosted at The Toro Company Headquarters in Bloomington MN, including round-trip airfare and accommodations during the event. In addition, the recipient of the award will receive an Assistant Superintendent of the Year award plaque. The plaque will be presented during the CGSA Awards Luncheon as part of the Canadian Golf Course Management Conference (CGCMC).
