How We Are Planning to Keep You Safe
The world has changed immensely since we last hosted an in person Canadian Golf Course Management Conference. We know that getting back to what used to be normal takes some thought and consideration.
The staff and boards from both the CGSA and OGSA want to do what we can to ensure The Canadian is held with attention to your safety. The Canadian will be following all Public Health Measures in place by the Province of Ontario as well as the City of Toronto.
Instituted measures include the need for all attendees, guests, speakers, exhibitors, staff and guests to be fully vaccinated with an approved Health Canada vaccine. That is two (2) valid doses received at least 14 days prior to the start of the event. We will have staff on site to check your vaccine records along with your photo ID at the beginning of the event. Once checked we will have you wear a bracelet to indicate this for the duration of the event.
Masking that covers your nose and chin will be required to be worn during the event; including during sessions and throughout the hotel facility. Masks can be removed for food and beverage consumption. There will be masks available onsite sponsored by Rain Bird should you require one.
Hand sanitizing stations will be available throughout the facility along with reminders to keep a comfortable distance between others. We have a sponsorship opportunity
here to provide delegates with an individual sanitizer.
We will also be instituting a colour coded sticker indicating attendees comfort level that will show if you are comfortable with distance, elbow bumps or handshakes.
We will remain committed to institute any new guidelines to follow to keep everyone as safe as possible.
