CGSA Announces 2021 Fall Field Days

affiché le avr 28, 2021
The Canadian Golf Superintendents Association (CGSA) is announcing it's premiere fall events. Due to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic in the Country the Board of Directors has made the decision to host two Fall Field Day events in 2021.

The first will be the Fall Field Day East, to be held at Summerlea Country Club in Vaudreuil-Dorion, Quebec on Tuesday, September 14, 2021 with host superintendent and CGSA President, John Scott, AGS.

The second event, the Fall Field Day West will be held on Tuesday, September 21, 2021 at Canmore Golf & Curling Club in Canmore, Alberta. Reid Solodan, AGS will be our host superintendent for the western event.

The plans for this model of our Fall Field Day was supported by our Board of Directors to allow as many members as possible to participate in an event without the need for cross-country travel. By selecting these two locations we know that there are a number of people who are able to drive to these destinations if need be.

"We know our membership is missing the opportunity to meet in person and we recognize that golf is a safe sport during these times, allowing us to plan these events," said John Scott, AGS, CGSA President. He continued, "We look forward to welcoming many of our colleagues at these two events."

Registration for the events is currently being prepared and will open in May. Please mark your calendars now for The Fall Field Day East - September 14 and The Fall Field Day West - September 21. Any member can participate in either event or both!

Stay tuned to www.golfsupers.com or our Twitter feed @golfsupers or @cgsaeducation for more details as they become available.

Please note that both events will consider all restrictions and protocols
relative to Covid-19.
