CGSA Distributes the Golf Maintenance Department Compensation & Benefits Survey

affiché le nov 23, 2022
In Partnership with Seven Provincial/Regional Groups

Last week the Canadian Golf Maintenance Department Compensation & Benefits Survey was distributed to CGSA members alongside those of 7 regional/provincial superintendent associations members.

CGSA has conducted this survey amongst it's members over the past 30 years; however to expand on the sample size across Canada regional and provincial associations were asked if they'd like to join in the process. The British Columbia Golf Superintendents Association (BCGSA), Alberta Golf Superintendents Association (AGSA), Saskatchewan Turfgrass Association (STA), Manitoba Golf Superintendents Association (MGSA), Ottawa Valley Turfgrass Association (OVTA), Quebec Golf Superintendents Association (QGSA) and the Atlantic Golf Superintendents Association (AGSA) agreed to partner with the CGSA to create the most comprehensive survey results that have ever been done.

Each participant in the survey will receive an Executive Summary with the option to purchase the full national report at a discounted rate. Those who are participating through the regional partnership will receive information from their regional group on receipt of the regional report.

CGSA has retained the services of The Portage Group to conduct the survey. All surveys are being sent from survey@golfsupers.com. If you don't see it in your inbox please check your junk or spam folder.

Please participate in this valuable research survey so that we can compile the best information possible. The results of this survey will be a crucial tool to help guide compensation and benefits for superintendents, assistants as well as five other positions in the maintenance department. Golf course employers will find this useful with attracting new hires and the results will also help to encourage those who are considering pursuing a career in the industry.

Note that the deadline for completion is November 30th.
