The Canadian Golf Superintendents Association (CGSA) is pleased to announce the addition of an important new staff position. Effective April 4, Peter Ridout will become the CGSA’s full time Business Development Manager.
Peter adds 20 years of B2B sales, account management, and customer service to an already highly experienced CGSA Team. His professional career includes 7 years at another national association and an additional 10 years of marketing industry conferences and trade shows.
“After several consecutive successful years, the CGSA is now ready to invest into several growth opportunities, including new membership and partnerships,” stated Executive Director Jeff Calderwood. “Peter’s skills and experience provide an excellent fit to fulfill this vision and further support the CGSA’s benefits to the golf superintendent’s profession and the related supplier community.”
Reporting to Chief Operating Officer, Kathryn Wood, Peter will work closely with Member Services Manager Lori Micucci, and Communications & Administration Manager Barb Manifold.
“I am excited to join such an experienced Team and really looking forward to my new career with the CGSA,” Peter noted. “I think we have some great opportunities ahead and I really look forward to building so many mutually beneficial relationships along the way.”
