CGSA and OGSA Announce Joint Golf Course Management Conference for January 2022

posted on Sep 29, 2021

We’re All in This Together, Eh!

The Canadian Golf Superintendents Association (CGSA) and the Ontario Golf Superintendents’ Association (OGSA) are pleased to announce a joint golf course management conference January 18-20, 2022, at the Sheraton Centre Toronto Hotel, Ontario.

This partnership will see the CGSA’s Canadian Golf Course Management Conference held alongside the OGSA’s Ontario Golf Course Management Conference, uniting, face to face, all levels of golf course management personnel and industry suppliers/supporters from across Canada.

As international travel requirements remain uncertain, the two and a half day Canadian Golf Course Management Conference will focus on Canadian content and will provide attendees with their Provincial Pesticide Recertification or IPM points, CGSA CEC points and GCSAA education points.

The conference and tradeshow will also adhere to current Covid-19 health and safety protocols as required by the City of Toronto and the Sheraton Centre Toronto Hotel, and attendees will be notified of all protocols in advance of the conference.

Registration for the event will open on October 12, 2021 and attendees can register at golfsupers.com.

CGSA President John Scott, AGS said, “We are happy that we’ve been able to come to this partnership agreement with the Ontario Golf Superintendents' Association. It’s an excellent collaboration between the provincial and national organizations. Working together for the betterment of the memberships and the industry is of utmost importance.”

Al Schwemler, OGSA President states, “The OGSA is equally pleased to partner with the CGSA to bring our members and superintendents, assistants, and technicians from across Canada, a one-stop shop for networking, professional development, and mingling with suppliers to find out what is new and exciting on the trade show floor.”

Further event details will be released in the coming weeks. If you would like to participate as a presenter, exhibitor, or sponsor of the 2022 CGCMC in partnership with the OGSA, please contact us today.
