CGSA Announces the Location and Date for the 2025 Fall Field Day

posted on Dec 16, 2024

The Canadian Golf Superintendents Association (CGSA) announced today that the 2025 Fall Field Day National Championship will visit Club de Golf Laval Sur Le Lac in Laval-sur-le-lac, Quebec on Tuesday, October 7, 2025. Our host superintendent for the event is Luc Ladouceur.

Le Club Laval sur le Lac is a 36-hole private golf club located in Laval Sur Le Lac near Montreal, Quebec. Founded in 1917 the club officially opened the first course (now referred to the Green Course) designed by Willie Park Jr, in 1924. This course hosted the Canadian Open in 1962. The second course (referred to as the Blue Course) was designed by Mike Wier and Ian Andrew.

“CGSA is honoured to be able to play at this outstanding location. The Fall Field Day is one of the highlights on my calendar and this year is no different. I appreciate not only the opportunity to golf with my colleagues, but also to network and learn,” said John McLinden, AGS, CGSA President.

CGSA is working on an educational session to be incorporated into the overall events as well as additional golf. An announcement with additional details will be made in the New Year once those items are determined.

Various sponsorship opportunities will be available for the 2025 Fall Field Day. Should you wish to reserve or discuss options contact Barb Manifold at bmanifold@golfsupers.com.
