Brian Youell, MS, AGS, who has been a long time CGSA member since 1994 and has worked at Uplands Golf Club since 1981 is hosting this The Beachlands Victoria Open presented by Times Colonist event!

Brian was the CGSA John B. Steel winner in 2022, the Superintendent of the Year winner in 2012, the Environmental Achievement award winner in 2017 and Gordon Witteveen award winner in 2016!   Brian was also recently recognized as one of 4 Superintendents to ever host 20 or more PGA Tour sanctioned events. This year is the 23rd event. To recognize this amazing accomplishment Mark Johnson, PGA Tour Agronomist (right) presented Brian (middle) with a silver plate.
