The Canadian Golf Superintendents Association (CGSA) and The Toro Company are pleased to announce their renewed three-year partnership as a Platinum Plus sponsor, which includes the exclusive sponsorship of the CGSA/Toro Assistant Superintendent of the Year Award, and the Gordon Witteveen Award. In addition, Toro will sponsor the Specialized Learning Workshops during The Canadian Golf Course Management Conference (CGCMC) in 2022 and 2023, the CGSA Fall Field Day Welcome Reception and will be a contributor to the CGSA Silent Auction until 2023.

“CGSA is thrilled to renew our Platinum Plus partnership agreement with The Toro Company that will enhance all aspects of our operations,” said Darren Kalyniuk, CGSA President. “It is support like this that allows CGSA to honour our members with recognition and provides invaluable networking opportunities while contributing to the success of the golf industry.”

The CGSA/Toro Assistant Superintendent of the Year Award recognizes Assistant Superintendents that have demonstrated excellence at their club. Nomination forms are now available and are being accepted through December 31, 2020. Please visit golfsupers for the nomination form.

Each year, in honour of Gordon Witteveen, Toro provides an award to a Superintendent or Assistant Superintendent who publishes an article in GreenMaster magazine, the official publication of the CGSA, whose article is judged as being the best of the year by a panel of industry peers.
