CGSA MEMBER ACCESS TO THE 2019 NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS

CGSA members are eligible for admission privileges to selected golf championships subject to conditions imposed by the sponsoring body. (Each sponsor reserves the right to change their admission policies)

2019 CGSA MEMBERS TICKET POLICY FOR ACCESS TO THE
RBC CANADIAN OPEN AND THE CANADIAN PACIFIC (CP) WOMEN'S OPEN

In support of our Canadian golf industry partners, Golf Canada is pleased to offer all card-carrying members of the Canadian Golf Superintendents Association (CGSA) a complimentary grounds access daily pass to the RBC Canadian Open and the CP Women’s Open in 2019. **Please note that Friday June 7th at the RBC Canadian Open is sold out and we are unable to provide complimentary passes for that day.

PLEASE NOTE:  As of June 4th Saturday June 8th is now sold out for general admission.  Golf Canada is still honouring complimentary access for CGSA members only, presenting valid Card ID and photo ID.  Members will receive one non-transferable pass.  Any guests accompanying them must already have a ticket, as they are not available for purchase at the gate or online.

RBC Canadian Open

This year’s RBC Canadian Open will be played at Hamilton Golf Club, June 3-9, 2019. CGSA 42 year Superintendent Member Rhod Trainor is hosting this event. 

Members attending should park in the general spectator lots; details will be available at www.rbccanadianopen.com. Tournament shuttle buses will transport you to the main spectator gate.

CP Women’s Open

This year’s CP Women’s Open will be played at the Magna Golf Club, August 19-25. CGSA 33 year Superintendent Member Wayne Rath is hosting this event. 

Member Access:

CGSA members (the card holder) will receive one complimentary ticket for per day.  Members will need to present their 2019-2020 membership card and photo ID each day (Weekly pass worth $120).  For more information including parking and shuttle service, please click here.  (Each sponsor reserves the right to change their admission policies).

SHAW CHARITY CLASSIC

The Shaw Charity Classic, a PGA TOUR Champions event is pleased to offer free admission  to all members of the CGSA when they show their 2018-2019 membership card at the entrance.

This event takes place at the Canyon Meadows Golf & Country Club in Calgary, Alberta from August 29 – September 2nd. For more information on the Shaw Charity Classic, please click here:

UNITED STATES GOLF ASSOCIATION (USGA) - GROUND ACCESS TO THE
2019 USGA CHAMPIONSHIPS

Members who identify themselves with a CGSA membership card for the current year are to be granted complimentary admission to the Grounds Only on a daily basis. This includes the following classifications ONLY: SUPERINTENDENT, GOLF COURSE MANAGEMENT AND AA LIFE MEMBERS.

The spouse or guest of a CGSA member is also granted complimentary admission to the U.S. Women’s Open, U.S. Senior Open, U.S. Senior Women’s Open and U.S. Amateur. However, the spouse or guest of a CGSA member is NOT granted complimentary admission to the U.S. Open.

Members are to park at the general parking at each championship and take the complimentary shuttle to the Will Call facility.

You will need to show both a valid CGSA membership card (2019-2020) and a photo identification card to receive a complimentary admission grounds ticket. The same procedure applies for each day of the championships that the member wishes to attend.
